When it is upright, push the head into the center and bend it. Fold it well and start rolling the paratha. Sprinkle a little flour over it first. Roll the paratha again with gentle movements into a circle with a diameter of about 15 cm.

Here are some frequently asked questions about making a parata.

You can freeze these parathas. To freeze, make these parathas and bake them halfway according to the recipe, on both sides. Be careful not to cook them all the way through. Stack all the parathas in the same way and store in the freezer with a safety glass or ziplock bag.

How do you make frozen parathas?

Do not thaw frozen paratha. Place them directly on a skillet or tawa pan. Fry one side, turn over and brush the other side with ghee.

How are balances stored?

The leftover paratha can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will keep for 1 to 2 days in the refrigerator. If you want to keep these parathas longer, freeze them in the freezer as described above. Frozen paranthas can be kept for 8 to 12 weeks without problems.
